NBA fans have forever been divided by the GOAT debate. For every generation, there has been a player who deserves to be on the GOAT debate. There have always been debates and comparisons on how one player would fare in the other generation. And it seems like the modern-day basketball players bear most of this brunt. None more important than LeBron James, the consensus greatest player of this generation.

But it seems like LeBron has an ally now. In a resurfaced clip Michael Jordan defends LeBron. In the clip when asked about LeBron, MJ said “Just think that you know we’re playing in different eras… he’s an unbelievable player .. he’s one of the best players in the world if not the best player in the world”. Michael continued, “I know it’s natural tendency to compare eras to eras and you know it’s gonna continue to happen… I’m a fan of his. I love watching him play ….. you know I think he has made his mark and will continue to do so over a period of time”. Michael concluded by saying, “ When you start the comparisons I think it is what it is you know it’s just a standard measurement you know I take it with a grain of salt.. he is a heck of a basketball player without a doubt“.
