Bird had realised that Jordan’s time had come, and it was time for him and Magic to step aside. It was hard for Magic to let it go, but he did eventually. Jordan said that this argument brought the two legends closer, and they became very good friends. The Dream Team changed the landscape of basketball and it pushed the game 20 years ahead. And it was possible because the legends of the game decided to put their differences aside and play for their country.
