One of the richest athlete in the world has dipped his toe in the digital world. And dipping his toe does not mean he has made a small step in the Metaverse. Michael Jordan, in his 15 years in the NBA, only 6% of his enormous net worth came from the contracts he signed for the Chicago Bulls and then the Washington Wizards.

The playing days contributed almost nothing to the empire Michael Jordan now owns. His endorsement deal with Nike has earned him an enormous sum of the massive 2 billion dollar’s net worth. In partnership with Nike, he started his own brand, Air Jordans, in 1984. This turned into a gigantic deal for his future.

The name ‘6 Rings’ of the NFT is obviously inspired by the legendary 2 three-peats the great Michael Jordan won in his career in the NBA with Chicago Bulls. The NFT is worth 2.3 SOL or USD 221 per piece. It is a tribute to Michael Jordan’s legendary jersey number 23. The platform has recorded sales of the NFT collection worth approximately over 1 million dollars by selling around 5,000 Solana NFTs.
