However, there was one more element that helped Jordan to accomplish this goal, and that was selfishness. The competition he created in the NBA when he played for the Bulls is something we all remember from those days.

It is necessary to be selfish in order to succeed, as he has mentioned several times. An iconic 2004 interview revealed what Serena Williams, Derek Jeter, Roy Jones Jr, Warren Sapp, and the NBA ‘GOAT’ have in common.

Jordan discussed how selfishness can play a big role in success among players in the interview. According to Jordan, you must channel it in a way that is profitable for you and the team. It is not the first time Jordan has discussed the importance of being somewhat selfish to succeed in life.
