The world has known Michael Jordan to be quite possibly the greatest basketball ever. Very few would argue against the fact that MJ is in fact the “GOAT”. His dominance in the 90s was never matched again in the years that have passed by.

He made the NBA his own by achieving two three-peats in the span of a decade. Winning the NBA championship 6 times in 10 years, proved that there might never be a player as legendary as him. 

Some have come close in terms of the quality, but the legacy he has is undoubtedly something that might never be repeated.

“MJ Is A Nice Guy. Good Guy, You Love Him, You Know, But He Just Turned Into A Different Animal When He’s Competing At Something,” said his friend Kendall Gill.

Gill and Jordan never played together, but they still always had a good relationship.

Kendall Gill also once shared how MJ embarrassed him in front of his girlfriend. 

“So I have this 456 GT Ferrari and I’m with my girlfriend at the time, and she liked my car,” Gill said. “I pull up and they park it for me at the UC and we walk in. Michael and Scottie used to park inside the UC. So Michael’s Ferrari is there, but it’s a 550 Maranello. Brand new. My girlfriend goes, ‘Hey, I like that one. Can you get that one?’ I’m like, ‘That m**********r.’ It was the newest model Ferrari put out. I’m thinking, ‘I just can’t beat this guy.’ ”

Everyone who speaks about MJ talks about how his mere presence was enough for anyone to be in awe of him. His eliteness, extravagant coolness in whatever he did, and extremely legendary status, both on and off the court, always inspired people.

The legend of Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan was immensely competitive and always had the gigantic desire to be the best. His effect, impact, and approach to the game made him only one of a kind. It is often said that there may never be another “Michael Jordan”.

One incident that speaks volumes about Jordan’s mentality is when Karl Malone won the 1996-1997 MVP. MJ did not deny the fact that Karl alone also deserved it, but the winning mentality of Jordan made him even more hungry to win another NBA Championship with the Chicago Bulls.

His mindset to always win made him the most dangerous and special player. The plays he created and the types of baskets he scored were just exceptional and mostly unbelievable. The amount of times he scored the buzzer-beaters in the NBA playoffs is simply outstanding and just astounding to think about.

MJ’s mentality, along with his game attributes, made him the greatest baller on the planet. Other than his offensive capabilities and his decisiveness when it mattered the most. MJ was also one of the complete players who won the ball and retrieved it to help his team score.

The combination of his offensive excellence and his defensive smartness made him the greatest ever. There will never be enough words to describe the legend and legacy of His Airness.
