Irrespective of whether someone is a basketball fan or not, Michael Jordan is a name that resonates with millions around the world. He has 6 NBA titles to his name and was an integral part of the Bulls. Apart from Jordan, it was Scottie Pippen who will be remembered for his contributions the most.
While most will recall the duo for their chemistry on the court, a former NBA star recounts a horrible incident involving the two. According to former NBA star Chris Webber, Jordan and Pippen once humiliated them before the game.

When the Bulls took on the Washington Wizards, MJ decided to show his opponents who he was. Webber recounted how Jordan sat in his Ferrari while Pippen lit a cigar.
The whole team got off the bus and passed the two while they were smoking away. Webber said, “It was almost like, ‘I lit the cigar. I’m celebrating already. This is just a formality, you guys getting on the court tonight.”
Interestingly enough, NBA legend Charles Barkley believes MJ is not one to bully him and his team as he did with others. During an interview, Barkley said, “They think they’re playing against the old Phoenix Suns who let people bully them around. I would not like that anymore.” “If anybody said anything to my teammates, they gonna have to go through me“, added the Hall of Famer.
Unfortunately for Sir Charles, MJ and the Chicago Bulls got the better of the Phoenix Suns on the court. The Bulls beat the Suns 4-2 to clinch the 1993 NBA title.
Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley have a troubled relationship
Although MJ and Barkley shared a good relationship in the past, it has certainly deteriorated over time. One of Michael Jordan’s biggest ventures is his stake in the NBA in the form of the Charlotte Hornets.
Barkley’s bluntness regarding issues in the NBA cost him his three-decade-long friendship with Michael Jordan. He made remarks regarding some of MJ’s decisions while handling the Hornets which was not taken well by the 6-time champion.
“We’re not. And I take some responsibility for that,” said Charles Barkley when asked whether he and Michael Jordan are still friends.
