Michael Jordan?s 30 Minute Role With 990 Million MLB Franchise That Was Specified by Baseball Legend

Michael Jordan is the owner of several things. He has secret golf courses all around the US, he has a luxurious yacht and he is the owner of an NBA team. But recently he became a part-owner of another sports team, the Miami Marlins and according to his co-owner, he just has a simple job.

Michael Jordan and Derek Jeter along with a bunch of other investors purchased the Miami Marlins, a franchise in desperate need of saving. He is not a majority owner and is not involved in day-to-day activities. But he helped Jeter with a little bit of financial assistance and he received a certain percentage of the team. And Jeter says that Jordan has only one role on the team.

Jeter was asked if Jordan had any role on the team. He said that he is one of the owners, adding that Jordan has one task. Jeter said, ?I’m sure I’ll ask him at some point to speak to our players. You’re talking about someone who has been on a team sport who has had as much success as anyone in professional sports. He has a lot of wisdom and advice he can pass on to our players, not only at the Major League organization but throughout the organization.?

Jordan retired after winning his third title with the Chicago Bulls and he tried his hand at baseball soon afterwards. It was his lifelong dream and he accomplished it after leaving basketball. However, he did not have that much success and soon returned to basketball. And we all know what happened then.

Every sports person would love to talk to Jordan as he is an icon of the game and a serial winner. He can advise players on how to win and how to excel in all areas. And he knows how to be on a team and would understand the problems each team would face. Jordan may be an owner but his only job is to talk to the players and motivate them to win.
