With the Los Angeles Lakers struggling for playoffs this season, the players are facing all the heat. LeBron James is undoubtedly the face of the Lakers currently and has been the center of attraction.

In the past few weeks, former Los Angeles player Kwame Brown has been criticizing LeBron. From calling James the problem at the Lakers to asking questions on his defense, Brown has done it all.

In a recent YouTube live stream featuring NBA legend Gilbert Arenas, Kwame Brown goes all out as he talks about LeBron James’ minimal effort in the Lakers defense.

Kwame Brown bashes LeBron James

Talking on a YouTube live stream with Gilbert Arenas, Brown had a lot to say regarding LeBron again. He touched upon the issue of James and his contribution in defense, an area which he has criticized before.

Brown said, ” LeBron James is gonna go down in history as one of the best players who played the game. That still doesn’t negate the fact that his a** didn’t two nine in the paint on defense.”

Kwame Brown has been busy criticizing James for the past few weeks. His biggest concern for James is his defense, an area where LeBron has better stats than Brown.

Brown averages 3.7 defensive rebounds, 0.5 steals, and 0.6 blocks. James on the other hand averages 6.3 defensive rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 0.8 blocks.

Kwame’s guest during the live stream, Gilbert Arenas had called out Brown for unfairly criticizing LeBron James.

Gilbert Arenas bashes Kwame

After a video of James checking out a stat sheet mid-game had gone viral, Brown bashed LeBron. According to him, “Kobe would’ve never done that.

Arenas roasted Brown for this comment of his. After a few days of Brown talking about his feelings regarding the stat sheet incident on Instagram, Arenas used the same platform to roast Kwame.

He said, “Ur right #kobe would have NEVER looked at the stat sheet becuz he KNEW yo ass had 0. The whole arena knew u had a @krispykreme (donut) extra glaze with the hot light on clown. You were a professional exerciser, a big buff BUST out there doing cardio.”

LeBron’s defense this season

The Los Angeles Lakers have been struggling all season and their issues go beyond LeBron James. Their Big Three of LeBron, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis have not performed, with Davis facing injury scares.

The Lakers have one of the worst defensive records in the league this season. They are 16th in the league in terms of defensive stats.

LeBron leads the Lakers roster in terms of defense. He averages 6.6 defensive rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game this season.
