Michael Jordan’s Dressing Sense Torn to Shreds as He Wears Atrocious Pants in Unearthed Kobe Bryant Photo

Many consider Michael Jordan the ‘GOAT’ of the NBA for his basketball dominance. He has been an icon of the game throughout his life. And he was a pioneer in the fashion business with his sports fashion brand, Air Jordan. Now a lot of athletes can be seen following in his footsteps by creating a fashion line of their own.

But on some occasions, Michael Jordan has been made fun of for his sense of style and fashion. Recently, an old photo of Michael Jordan with legends like Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, Julius Erving, and Dominique Wilkins has resurfaced.

And the fans are roasting Jordan after seeing him wearing a leather sports jacket and very baggy pants. The photo was taken during the NBA 2007 All-Star weekend. During the time, most players wore baggy clothes, even the suits were baggy. Even though baggy clothes are making a comeback, Jordan and others in the photo are being trolled by the fans.

Michael ‘Air’ Jordan

Nike took a risk on the young Jordan and signed a unique deal with him to produce his own line of shoes. At first, the Air Jordan I sneakers were exclusively made for Michael Jordan, and later it was released to the public. The NBA actually banned the iconic red and black features of the original shoes for being too colorful. Because white shoes were mandatory at the time. 

The original Air Jordan logo differed from what is well recognized today. The ‘Jumpman’ logo first appeared on the third version of Air Jordan in 1987.

While it began as a partnership between a player and a brand, it has evolved into an icon and revolutionized the industry. The Air Jordan brand today now covers over 32 versions of the shoe, many of them re-released several times. The shoes frequently sell out as soon as they are available and are resold online to sneaker collectors.

No one has managed to match the legacy or sales success of the Air Jordan range. The ‘Team Jordan’ now includes 21 NBA players, as well as athletes in Baseball, Football, NASCAR, and Soccer.

With a net worth of over $2 Billion, Michael Jordan still earns $130 Million a year through sales of Jordan’s shoes. According to Business Insider, the Air Jordan brand has revenues of $3 Billion per year.
