Michael Jordan is arguably the greatest basketball player to ever live. A lesser-known fact about him is that he tried his hand at baseball as well. He quit basketball to try baseball for a couple of years before returning to the NBA. And an old photo of Jordan along with another MLB legend who rallied against the use of performance-enhancing drugs has gone viral.

Frank Thomas is a baseball Hall of Famer who got drafted in the 1989 MLB draft. He was a five-time all-star, and he is the only player in major league history to have seven consecutive seasons (1991–1997) with at least a .300 batting average, 100 runs batted in (RBI), 100 runs scored, 100 walks, and 20 home runs. He is also known for advocating drug tests early in the 90s.

Thomas was also involved in spring training with Jordan in 1994. Both these athletes looked fit and in great shape for the season. While Jordan did not enjoy the same level of success as Thomas, he was still a star attraction in the league. But when the MLB lockout happened in 1995, Jordan returned to his original game, basketball.

The Bulls lost in six games despite Jordan top-scoring in that series. And in the next season, he was more determined than ever to make his mark.

With the addition of Rodman to the squad, the Bulls looked unstoppable. They won 72 games in the regular season, which was an NBA record. And they went on to win that year. The Bulls and Jordan followed that up with another 2 titles to complete their second three-peat in 8 years. And Jordan retired from the game again before returning in 2001.
