As a competitor, Michael Jordan was always the one to trash talk. His fiery spirit was the reason everyone feared him. His aura on the court was different. If there was any kind of challenge in front, Jordan was always going to respond. However, sometimes even ‘Air Jordan’ ignores certain things. After a fan asked him a question about his ex-best friend, Charles Barkley and Ben Simmons, MJ couldn’t do much but ignore the question.
Jordan and Barkley share a rather complicated relationship. During their time in the NBA, they competed a lot and were two of the best. Notably, Jordan is the reason Barkley retired without a championship to show in his resume. However, in the heat of competition, the two grew out to be best friends. But certain events led to their falling out and ended their friendship altogether.

Hence, when a fan asked Jordan to choose between Barkley and Simmons, Jordan gave him the cold shoulder.
Michael Jordan didn’t even look his way
Jordan has never shied away from difficult situations. In fact, the six-time NBA champion always had eyes on him. However, after his retirement, Jordan took a more private approach. But his fallout with Charles Barkley became a public affair.
Notably, Barkley criticized Jordan for his management, which led to their eventual downfall. However, Charles still regards him as a brother. But it may not be the same for MJ.
A fan tried to ask Jordan a comedic question. He asked the Hall of Famer to choose between Barkley making a hole in one or Ben Simmons making a triple. Likewise, Jordan didn’t even look his way and completely ignored the question.
But while they were still friends, Jordan and Barkley had a rivalry on the golf course. MJ even criticized Barkley’s swing multiple times. While on the Oprah show together, Jordan dug into his Olympic teammate’s funny golf swing. Hence, the question was up to the point. However, the timing and person were just not one to respond.
