Miles Bridges and The Charlotte Hornets campaign came to a disappointing end on Wednesday. For the second year in a row, the Hornets were knocked out of the playoffs after losing the play-in tournament. Last year they lost to the Indiana Pacers and this year they lost to the Atlanta Hawks. And this loss seemed to take a toll on Bridges as he lashed out against a fan while exiting the arena.

The Hawks sealed their spot in the playoffs with a 132-103 victory over the Hornets. The Hawks took the lead by the end of the first quarter and they did not look back for a moment. They built it up to 33 at one point. In the fourth quarter, Bridges was called for goaltending and he did not seem to agree with the call. He went charging at the refs and he was thrown out of the game.

While walking to the locker room, a fan appeared to wave goodbye at Bridges. And he did not like that and he tossed his mouthpiece. Unfortunately, his mouthpiece hit another fan who was standing on the other side. Bridges has apologized to the fan on Twitter and has asked to find out more about the fan.
