Shaquille O’Neal puts in a big effort to enjoy a new aqua scape

Two years back, Shaquille O’Neal had made news after building a massive koi pond in Atlanta. As per recent updates, the Big Man is now set to make another Big Koi pond. Vice president of the company Aquascape who is commonly known as ‘Ed the Pond Professor’ is once again on the forefront to oversee Shaq’s recent pond project. Two years after helping Shaq build his first Koi pond, Ed the Pond Professor has now posted a snippet of the ongoing pond construction on his YouTube channel.

As per the video, Shaq’s newest Koi pond will require a million pounds of rock. The Aquascape vice president could be seen going for a hunt to handpick the best rocks for the mega pond. Besides, the video details the mammoth effort the Aquascape team is going to put in to sling the million pounds of rock. Ed the Pond Professor pointed that the pond will be constructed in such a manner that the leaves that are likely to flow in and decompose and the fish waste are not going to make the water bad.

While Shaquille O’Neal is investing for a second koi pond, Hollywood icon Brad Pitt is one of the Koi pond trendsetters.

Brad Pitt’s recent $39 million house sale

Back in 1994, Brad Pitt bought a Hollywood Hills estate from Cassandra Peterson. Then the luxurious compound had cost him $1.7million. Ever since the buy, the Academy award winner has experimented with his architectural ideas on the compound. With a main house that covers 6,700 square feet, the compound boasts other amenities such as a ballroom, a movie theatre, a motorcycle garage, a stone house and a huge Koi pond. The massive Koi pond is one of Pitt’s many novel additions to the house, which was originally built in 1910 by an oil baron.

The Hollywood property which Brad Pitt once called home is never the same for him. Recently, the 59-year-old sold the LA property for $39 million. Interestingly, when Pitt made money by selling his house and Koi pond, Shaquille O’Neal is splurging money on the same thing.
