Every field has its own icons. However, it is rare to see the two come together. Samuel. L. Jackson and Lakers legend Magic Johnson share an iconic friendship. Once on top of their crafts, the two legends have been pals for a long time. Moreover, they even go on an annual vacation together. But for the longest time, they have denied Famous TV host Jimmy Kimmel to tag along.

Kimmel is one of the longest hosts on television. His late-night show ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ has helped his connection with celebs to only increase with time. Over the years, Kimmel has talked a lot about the Lakers. Likewise, he knows many of the legends, including one of the greatest point guards, Magic Johnson. However, knowing Magic hasn’t got him all the privileges.

On his recent show, Kimmel shared how the NBA legend has denied him an invitation to his iconic yacht vacation for the past six years.

Lakers legend does not want Kimmel on his vacation?

Kimmel has his own comedic ways of sharing stories. Likewise, with Samuel as his guest, he confronted the actor head-on. The TV host has requested to attend an annual vacation with Jackson. However, he revealed how the Lakers legend has dodged the question about him coming along.

Kimmel said: “You know how long have I been asking both you and Magic if I can come on your vacation with you? It’s been six years. And each time you say yes and then Magic dodges the question. Each time summer comes and I’m sitting at home and then I eventually look at Instagram and there you guys are on the trip. I notice that I’m not on it with you.”

While Kimmel may be feeling sad, even the closest people struggle to get an invite. Notably, working three films together with Jackson hasn’t got Marvel actress Brie Larson the pass either. Like Kimmel, she has been asking the actor on his vacation with Magic as well. But she told Kimmel her five years’ worth of trying have reaped no invite. Hence, Kimmel isn’t the only one to be denied by the NBA Hall of Famer.
