Millionaire Rapper Travis Scott Sends a Shoutout to Michael Jordan and Tom Brady on His Collab With Drake and 21 Savage

In a song collaboration with Drake and 21 Savage, Travis Scott mentioned the names of Michael Jordan and Tom Brady. The rapper has often been seen on the sidelines during NBA games. He’s also seen interacting with stars from another American league, the NFL. So it doesn’t come as a surprise to fans that Travis Scott included the names of the two arguably greatest NBA and NFL players in his song.
Earlier, Drake and 21 Savage released their new album ‘Her Loss.’ Fans spent time reviewing and raving about the album. It became an instant hit. The album includes a song featuring rapper Travis Scott. This song in particular included a shout-out to basketball Hall of Famer Michael Jordan and NFL legend Tom Brady.

Travis Scott raps, “Bring on the rings (yeah), her MJ thing, I’m talkin’ a Brady thing.” Fans spent time dissecting and adding meaning to the shout-out. Michael Jordan has six NBA championship rings, while Tom Brady has seven Super Bowl ones. Fans believe that Travis Scott is paying a tribute to the success of Jordan and Brady. They also infer that Scott is using this success as a metaphor to talk about the wealth and beauty of the lady he is with.
Drake’s album includes the names of Michael Jordan and more
When Michael Jordan was asked about his favorite rapper, he said, “I’m more of a Drake fan”. So it must be nice to have his name mentioned in the album. However, Michael Jordan and Tom Brady were not the only athletes mentioned in this album. In track one named ‘Rich Flex’, Drake paid tribute to five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant. He said, “I’m livin’ every 24 like Kobe did”.

However, this isn’t the first time Drake has made a reference to athletes in his track or albums. Previously, he has mentioned the likes of Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving.
