NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is one of the wealthiest players in NBA History. He has multiple successful businesses and a highly popular restaurant chain. And he is worth nearly half a billion dollars. But he recently made an absurd claim that he is broke just to clap back at superstar Kevin Durant.

Shaq has been very vocal about Rudy Gobert and how much he makes. Shaq has told he doesn’t think that Gobert deserves a max contract, and he has been very clear about it. He even stated that he is mad that seeing Gobert makes so much money.

Kevin Durant was not very impressed with Shaq, and he clapped back at him. When he saw Shaq commenting on Rudy making so much money, KD just reminded how much Shaq is worth.

He tweeted, ” Shaquille is hilarious. You’re a billionaire bro lol”

Shaq, who saw KD‘s comment, responded to it. He said, “I know I’m hillarious, and I’m not a billionaire i’m actually broke. but will always speak facts. thank you saying i’m funny means a lot.”

Shaq has never been scared to respond, and this time it was no different. But he didn’t attack him but rather thanked him and clarified a fact about his net worth. Even though he might not be a billionaire, Shaq is definitely not broke.

During his 19-year career, Shaq earned nearly $300 million in salary alone. He also earned hundreds of millions in endorsements during that same time period. Even though he is retired, he still has major endorsements. And not to mention his highly successful business ventures.

Shaq and Rudy’s feud has been going on for months now. Shaq had said that he would have destroyed Rudy if they had matched up. And Rudy responded by saying he would lock him up. This led to a back-and-forth exchange on social media between the two athletes. And things were calm for a while until Shaq questioned Rudy’s max deal. He even fired back at Kevin Durant in a hilarious way.
