Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is a winner both on and off the court. While most of us are aware of his exploits on the basketball court, he also has a successful business empire.

While there are not many flaws in his game, Steph had a pretty bad record with turnovers during the start of his career. The situation turned so bad that Curry had to take the help of his mom, Sonya Curry.

Steph was averaging 3 turnovers per game and he had an agreement with his mom. The agreement was that he had to pay his mom a hundred dollars for every turnover after 3. Interestingly enough, although Steph was paying his mom a few hundred dollars at first, it slowly turned into thousands!

As the season came to an end, Curry paid his mom almost 7 thousand for his turnovers. Despite being one of the best players in the league, it seems Stephen Curry still pays the fine to his mom. “Yeah. The cheque stopped cashing a few years ago. She still calls it out for sure“, said the 4 time NBA champion.
