Back in October when the regular season had freshly begun, a shocking clip rippled through the NBA world. The Golden State Warriors’ practice facility almost turned into a scene from?Fight Club as veteran Warrior Draymond Green landed an angry punch on his own teammate’s face. Jordan Poole paid a heavy price for his alleged trash talk and for shoving Green that day.

The four-time champion Green paid a fine and took some time off from the court. However, despite the incident, Poole and Green worked things out and co-existed on the court. It did seem like the past was gone and forgotten – until the 23-year-old Poole’s response to a question by a reporter came out today.

A few days from their playoffs battle versus the Sacramento Kings, the media had some questions for the Warriors. One reporter asked Poole about the impact veterans have had on Poole with regard to their demands and how it may have been chaotic for him. The question seemed to be going to have a straightforward answer from Poole, but Poole had an interesting follow-up of his own.

Poole asked, “On the court?” in response to the reporter’s question, leading fans to speculate about whether he was referring to the October 2022 incident – among possible others!

While there seems to be no problems on the court, it doesn’t seem like the rising Warriors star has forgotten all about the incident. After the incident, Draymond Green had admitted to being in the wrong for reacting the way he did but shared that he also felt that the video was made public as part of a conspiracy to portray him in a negative light.

In an interview with Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks, he said, “You?ve never seen another video from our practices. … Who was it calculated [to be made public] by? I don?t know. I would still love to know the answer.”

The Dubs have now taken Poole’s cryptic response as a telling sign of growing worries for the Warriors.

Warriors fans worry about Poole’s cryptic answer

DubNation haven’t been the most comfortable fans as the franchise inches closer to the postseason. Poole’s recent interaction with the press has been taken as growing evidence of the Warriors’ tensions. Some fans believe Jordan Poole won’t last another season with the Bay.

Notably, after signing a contract extension with the Warriors not long after the ‘punch’, Poole had replied to a question about his expected stay at the Bay with one word – “Long.” Fans on twitter are now discussing that time frame. One?user on Twitter said, “He getting traded?”?

Fans also felt that Poole is still angry at Green for the incident. Another Warriors fan wrote, “So he still mad at Draymond (tearful emoji)”?
