NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has had numerous high-profile relationships both during his time in the NBA and after retirement. Despite his dating record, Shaunie Nelson happens to be the only woman he has ever married. The two opted for a divorce after several disputes in their long marriage. While Shaq is still happily single, Shaunie has moved on in life. She got married last year in a private ceremony.

She married Keion Henderson, a well-known pastor and founder of the lighthouse church. In an Instagram reel, the husband and wife sat down and talked about their hilarious first date.

Keion and Shaunie met for the first time in a hotel where they decided to spend some time together. Henderson said, “This is what actually happened. All of that stuff is true, meet me at the lobby, you somehow thought me asking you to come to the hotel is me asking you to come to the hotel room!”

Henderson had some business to attend to the next day which is why he wanted to leave early. But Shaunie was having none of that. She persuaded her future husband to stay for the night and instead sleep on the flight.

After much persuasion, Keion agreed to stay as long as he could. He then noticed Shaunie Nelson having a look at him rather romantically. Although Nelson strongly disagreed with this claim, the pastor seemed quite convincing.

After this first encounter, Keion Henderson made sure to not kiss Shaunie on the first date and also side-hugged her. Interestingly, he did so to prevent Shaunie from talking about how Henderson took advantage of her in their first meeting!

Four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal has six kids, three boys, and three girls. It seems he still wants more as revealed by the NBA legend himself during a podcast.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend revealed that he wants two more healthy babies. He doesn’t care about the gender of the baby, he just cares for their well-being. Moreover, he also informed the host that this is the only way he would feel young.
