When Tiger Woods won the 2019 Masters, many dubbed it the greatest comeback in sports history. He won his first master’s title in 11 years and the amount of buzz it generated was massive. Even NBA legend Dennis Rodman was in awe of it as he said not even Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, or Michael Jordan has done that in their opulent careers.
Before going to the Masters tournament, there were very few people who would have given Woods a chance to win it. But as the rounds went on, the hopes of fans grew. The anticipation that Woods will finally end his drought was within touching distance. And then the final day rolled around when Woods had a shot to win it.

In the final decisive round, Tiger took the lead and held on to it to win his 15th Majors trophy, with a one-stroke lead. And the sports world erupted.
Rodman claims Tiger Woods commanded more respect than Jordan, Ali, and Frazier
The amount of buzz and interest that Tiger Woods generated was on another level. He was the talk of sports analysts for days on end. And fans kept on tirelessly raving about him. During a podcast a while ago, Dennis Rodman admitted that he has seen nothing like that in his life.

Rodman was talking about Tiger’s win at the 2019 Masters. He said,” I’ve been playing sports for a long long time, and I’ve seen a lot of athletes come and go. Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Michael Jordan, the list go on and on.”
“I have never seen nobody in the history of sports, on the Masters, the last day that last hole, command that much f**ing sh*t in my life… I have never seen s**t like that. One man did that”

The world had waited for a long time to see Tiger Woods win. And when he made it happen in some style at one of the biggest stages of all, the fans were ecstatic. After he put the 18th hole, the crowd got up and gave him a standing ovation. And as he made his way to collect his fifth green jacket, the crowd broke into a thunderous chant for Tiger Woods. Even Rodman, who has seen some all-time greats, was astonished.
