As the world mourned his death, his wife, Vanessa Bryant went to court with the officials. It was for disrespecting her late husband as some sheriffs had shared gruesome images of the crash site.

Bryant’s camp filed a case against the officials for negligence and also for invasion of privacy. Vanessa said, “I expected them to have more compassion — respect. My husband and my daughter deserve dignity.” She further testified in court, “I don’t think anybody should ever see their family members in that way.”
