But his third season was marred with injury layoffs and he missed most of the 2011-12 season. And there were concerns about his fitness and ankle. And he was at his lowest point at the time. Even though Curry is a very optimistic person, his injuries really tested his mental strength. Curry once revealed that Ayesha gave him the confidence to be optimistic and trust the process. With his wife and his family behind him, he was able to heal his ankle and strengthen it as well.

In the very next season, he played 78 games and averaged more than 20 points for the first time in his career. And two years later, Curry won his first-ever NBA MVP award. He also led the Warriors to an NBA title that year. From there, there has been no stopping the ‘Baby Faced Assassin.’ He then won another MVP award, three more titles, and a Finals MVP award.
