Kobe Bryant was, without a doubt, among the very elite and the greatest players to ever grace the NBA. Just over 2 years ago, the world came together to give strength to Vanessa and the rest of Bryant’s family, when he and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna met with a helicopter accident.

NBA fans all around the world were in mourning and grief following his death, which only goes to show the legend he was and the legacy he left behind.

Vanessa Bryant remembers her late husband on Valentine’s day. She shared a sweet memory on Instagram with the caption – 

‘Happy Valentine’s Day, Baby. My Forever Valentine. ❤️ #AmoreMio #TiAmo #PerSempre.’

She received over a million likes in an hour after posting a picture of her and Kobe. The post now has over 3 million likes in just a period of 2 days.

Love pouring for Vanessa and Kobe

Celebrities like Khloe Kardashian and Naomi Campbell joined Vanessa in remembering the NBA legend, as they showed their support by commenting on the post shared by Vanessa.

Khloe showed her love by writing “Forever V 💜💜💜💜” whereas Naomi commented, “❤️❤️❤️❤️”.

At time of the tragedy as well, Naomi among other celebrities was one of the firsts to console and support Vanessa online. Khloe mourned the loss as she reflected on how fragile the life is. Naomi and Khloe led the hollywood elites showing love for and in support of the Bryant family.

Super tribute at the Super Bowl

In Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show, Vanessa gave a heartfelt tribute to the NBA legend, Kobe as she featured in a commercial.

“This is Los Angeles,” Vanessa said in the commercial. 

“The city of angels. Where iconic teams, where iconic moments, and where icons have etched their place in the storybook of history. Where nothing is impossible without a lot of hard work and a little imagination.”

Vanessa was sitting in an old-school purple car, parked in front of a mural of Kobe and Gianna.

She shared the pictures from the commercial on Instagram thrice before posting the commercial which aired during the halftime show. 

Kobe and Vanessa got married in April 2001, and they went on to welcome four daughters: Natalia, Bianka, Capri, and Gianna.

It’s been just over two years since the January 26, 2020 helicopter crash that took away the lives of Kobe and their daughter Gianna, but Vanessa never fails to show her eternal love for her late husband.
