After a thunderous start to the 2021-22 season, the NBA has received a huge jolt. All of a sudden, the league is losing multiple players due to health concerns. In an already hectic campaign, these health issues come as a setback for franchises. Off late, many marquee signings have been entering the league’s health and safety protocols. The latest addition to this list is Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma.

The Wizards have performed better than many people expected them to. Outdoing themselves, they are within the top-8 in the Eastern Conference. Some of the key contributors for the side have been the star duo of Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma. In addition, former Lakers duo of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Montrezl Harrell have also lent helping hands. But with Kuzma set to miss out on multiple games now, the capital city will have to dig itself out a big hole.

Last year, Kyle Kuzma had a disappointing outing with LeBron James and co. After being acquired by the Wizards, he grabbed his opportunity with both hands. According to the reliable Marc Stein, Kuzma, who has joined the league’s health and safety protocols, is questionable for Washington’s game against Sacramento. The evolution of his health will determine his availability. In another piece of shocking news, 28-year-old Sixers player Georges Niang has also joined him.
