The NBA today has some of the most lethal duos. Almost every franchise is looking to build around two quality guys. And in the city of Boston, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have captured the spots. However, after losing in the NBA Finals last season, the Celtics wanted to make major upgrades. Since then reports have emerged of the franchise looking to give up Brown for Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant in a blockbuster trade. However, Tatum isn’t falling for reports on the internet.

Tatum and Brown are certainly one of the deadliest offensive duos in the league. At just 24 and 25 respectively, the two carried the Boston Celtics all the way to the NBA Finals. While they did fall short, their potential is nowhere close to being fulfilled. Still young in their careers, both the All-Stars have a long way to go. However, Boston wants to get back to the top right away. And they are willing to give up their future to pair Kevin Durant with Jayson Tatum.

Tatum heard about the news of Brown being the one to go. But the Celtics All-Star isn’t convinced by the news.

Jayson Tatum doesn’t believe Kevin Durant reports

After KD put in a trade request, the NBA world went mental. Almost all teams have made an attempt at stealing the Slim Reaper away. However, no one saw the Celtics making a move. The 17-time NBA champions offered Jaylen Brown and a few more pieces in hopes to get the four-time scoring champion. But it wasn’t enough for the Brooklyn Nets. They are looking to steal the core by demanding even Marcus Smart.

At the end of the day, these are only reports. And Jayson Tatum feels the same. The All-NBA forward spoke about the rumors and said he doesn’t believe the media. Tatum said: “I don’t believe everything I see on TV. I didn’t see some s**t about that was a loss. So you never really know what is true and what’s not true.”

Likewise, they led their nation to yet another gold medal triumph. Both the stars are high-volume shooters and know what the other is capable of. Notably, Tatum has shined bright when going up against the Easy Money Sniper putting up 30 points per game in his postseason career against him.
