Who would’ve thought that the Miami Heat would dominate proceedings in the 2021-22 season. Playing some fearless basketball, the side sits comfortably in the top-2. Spearheaded by Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro, Miami has outlasted the likes of Brooklyn and Milwaukee in the East. On Saturday, the side hosted the Utah Jazz at the FTX Arena. And they had a special visitor riling them on.

In a tight match-up, the Heat edged out Jazz for a 118-115 victory. Sitting up close and personal in the stands, was boxing champion Floyd Mayweather. The undefeated boxer, a self-admitted basketball fan, came to support Miami. Backed by Floyd and a packed crowd, the side pushed their limits for a victory. As the team posted an image of the Olympic bronze medalist, fans made some cheeky Canelo Alvarez comments.

Way back in 2013, Mayweather took on Canelo Alvarez in a high-intensity bout. The knockout king overcame his Mexican counterpart, but it was a widely talked about encounter. On Saturday night, Floyd came decked up and watched Heat vs Jazz unfold from the front row. Dressed in an all-green outfit, Mayweather rocked his look as fans went berserk behind him. In a recent post, the Heat shared his image, captioning it, “Oh, hey Champ. Floyd Mayweather saw our Saturday night W up close and personal.”

Responding to the post, fans had some hilarious things to say. Some even took a sly dig at Mayweather, claiming that the likes of Manny Pacquiao and Canelo Alvarez are better than him. One fan boldly claimed, “Canelo better.” Take a look at the best reactions.
