In his NBA career, Williams averaged over 16 points. He was a potent point guard, particularly shining for the Utah Jazz. Having the build for boxing, it doesn’t come as that big of a surprise that the 3-time All-star opted to enter the ring. As reported by Shams Charania, the 2-time Olympic gold medalist is determined to fight in the undercard bout towards the end of the year. His opponent is reportedly NFL’s Frank Gore, who is third on the all-time rushing yards list. Thus, the event has only gotten bigger and better with the inclusion of the league legend.

The event is headlined by popular YouTuber Jake Paul, but Williams will also draw in large crowds. On the other hand, there were some who backed Deron as well. While one fan said, “Frank Gore would destroy that finals fraud,” others came in support of the ex-Nets player.
