NBA Fans Lose Their Heads as Michael Jordan Look-Alike Shows up at LA Fitness

When someone is regarded as one of the greatest athletes ever, there are bound to inspire at least a few copycats. Lookalikes and doppelgangers are common in the life of someone as famous as Michael Jordan.

In a viral video that recently surfaced on the internet, one can see a person dressed up as ‘His Airness’ himself in LA Fitness. The lookalike shows off his basketball skills while donning the iconic Bulls jersey of Jordan.

People in the comment section have lost their heads and are using various references and memes to describe the person. Let’s take a look.

Fans react to the Michael Jordan lookalike

The basketball players in LA Fitness were in for a treat. They got a special appearance from a lookalike of Michael Jordan.

Dressed in the iconic Chicago Bulls jersey of Jordan, he showed off his skills on the basketball court. The player, to his credit, had some pretty decent moves in his bag. He gave the players a taste of some of his neat dribble sequences as the crowd enjoyed themselves.

Basketball fans have gone crazy in the comments of the video featuring the lookalike. Some of them have already given names to the lookalike like, “The Walmart version of MJ” and “Jichal Morden”.

A user commented, “MJ warming up to get that 10-day contract”. Certainly, nobody is going to have any problem with a Michael Jordan comeback. 

“He better be careful. Jordan might take it personally,” a user brought up ‘The Last Dance’ comparisons.

The time when a doppelganger got a surprise from MJ

Although it is yet to be known whether the LA Fitness lookalike will get noticed by Jordan, a famous doppelganger of his got a special surprise once.

33-year-old Jeffrey Harrison, a man dressed up as Michael Jordan, had gone viral on Twitter. He was reportedly suffering from autism and had the nickname, “CDA MJ”.

Luckily, Jordan noticed his special fan and gave him a surprise. A local news station featured Harrison, after which Jordan got in touch with him, as reported by Chicago Tribune.

MJ sent him two full boxes of Jordan merchandise, “I sent you a bunch of stuff so that you don’t have to wear the same outfit. You can wear anything you want to wear to go out and play basketball, man.” Jordan told Harrison on the phone.
