The NBA playoffs give fans memorable moments and heroic performances every single season. It is the stage where stars are born. However, there is also the other side of the coin. That includes the upsets, the nights that make a certain star the target of scrutiny. We have seen several players take on the fire during the 2023 playoffs. Phoenix Suns’ Kevin Durant has been hammered for failing in their postseason conquests, or even James Harden who crumbled in a Game 7. While they might view it as motivation, one certain star saw it as an opportunity. An opportunity to assemble all of such rejected stars together.

It’s been only a season since Dwight Howard left the NBA to play overseas. And he doesn’t mean to come back to make his ‘superteam’ vision a reality.

Basketball star manifests a superteam with Kevin Durant and James Harden, but not in the NBA

Dwight Howard, 2020 NBA Champion, and a three-time DPOY, left for Taiwan in November last year after interest in him in the NBA died down. After spending a season with his team, Taoyuan Leopards, it seems the former Los Angeles Lakers big is at a happy point in his life. He has embraced the positivity Taiwan has brought to him. And he wants some other NBA stars, those who are being ridiculed, to feel the same.

Howard has been active on his Twitter trying to lure all types of NBA players to Taiwan. Is it blatant tampering? Probably, but he hasn’t let the comments stop him from pursuing his outlandish agenda.

Only recently he even lent a hand of support to Ja Morant, who is caught in immense trouble. The Memphis Grizzlies star shared an apology following another clip of him allegedly showing off a firearm.

But he stepped up his game to a whole new level in his recent Instagram story. Howard put Kevin Durant, James Harden, Ben Simmons, and all the criticized stars together in a Taoyuan Leopards jersey – an edited image of his very own ‘superteam’. The chances of it happening are thinner than a strand of hair. Yet, Howard doesn’t seem like he will stop pushing for his agenda anytime soon.
