NBA Insider Reveals How LeBron James Went the Extra Mile to Apologize to Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart

LeBron James has never been one to be the troublemaker. However, in a recent game against the Detroit Pistons, it seemed like he caused a big scene. His elbow struck Isaiah Stewart, and all hell broke loose from thereon. But, immediately after it happened, LeBron was visibly apologizing while Stewart charged at him. Recently, NBA insider, Shams Charania spoke about the incident and how the ‘King’ tried to make sure he apologizes to Stewart.

The Los Angeles Lakers took the win against Detroit. While playing without James for almost half a game, they fell behind big time. But they made the comeback in the fourth quarter and took home the victory. The duo of Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis came to show once again combining for 56 points. But the LeBron and Stewart altercation took the news for the game.

While Shams spoke about what the league is doing for the whole incident, he also revealed how LeBron tried to reach out to Stewart to apologize.

LeBron James tried to get Stewart’s number

While being tied up at the free-throw line, James tried to get under Stewart and hit his elbow near his face. While it looked bad, James did not move and was seen apologizing immediately. But Stewart got extremely heated and started to chase LeBron all around the court.

Gilbert Arenas believes that Stewart will be out of the league for chasing the biggest attraction in basketball. Charania explained that the league will investigate further and take action soon.

With LeBron, he tried to find Stewart’s number in order to apologize for his actions. While it may be a mistake, Stewart was seriously hurt and bleeding a lot. His reaction may have been caused due to the damage, hence James wanted to clear things up.

Charania also spoke about how the league will take note of LeBron’s history with such incidents. The ‘King’ has always been a good sport and refrains from any altercations. This was only his second career ejection, the first coming during his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Hence, Charania believes the league will take this into consideration while making a decision.
