Now that the season has come to a close, trade talks and rumors are in full force. And the Los Angeles Lakers are coming up left and right after a not-so-fun season filled with injuries and mistakes that landed them in a soup that cost them a chance at their second consecutive NBA championship. While injuries might be the primary reason, role players not stepping up made it worse. One of them was Kyle Kuzma, who seems to be ready to move on from the Lakers as well.

Is Kyle Kuzma ready to big goodbye to the Lakers?

How much the tables have turned since Kuzma emerged as a rookie back in 2017-18. Although he was a late first-round draft pick, his offensive skills won hearts and showed signs of being a more seasoned player. His inconsistency has put everybody off. From his three-point shooting to his overall production, everything has been trouble for the Lakers. But there is one thing that Kyle Kuzma has been consistent in, is talking highly of himself. He first spoke about wanting to join a team that would give him a bigger role. And now, an NBA insider has revealed some more.

On ‘The Lakerside Chats’ with Alen Ramic, Eric Pincus stated, “I think it’s time, I think he is ready to move on.” Other than that, Pincus also talked about how Kuzma puts himself on the same pedestal as Boston Celtics‘ superstar, Jayson Tatum.

“I think that Kyle Kuzma perceives himself as someone like Jayson Tatum. I think that’s how he views himself. And that’s great. You should view yourself as one of the best young players in the league.”
