A billionaire in his own right, Jordan isn’t afraid to spend his hard-earned cash. And sports cars are a huge part of his bill. However, there is one car ‘His Airness’ owns with a company of only 11 others.

MJ was the face of an entire generation of basketball. Sparks flew as soon as he stepped on the court. Moreover, his deal with Nike to birth the Jordan brand only added to his revenue. With the brand bigger than ever, it propelled the six-time champion to billionaire status. This allowed Jordan to play around with rare collectibles.

From his early days in the league, Michael Jordan’s interest in cars was evident. The Chicago Bulls legend was roaming around in his Porsche and Ferrari on a daily. And his hobby to stack up didn’t stop after his retirement. The man behind the Jordan brand has a collection of over $5 million dollars. But one of his cars makes up for almost half. That is the 2010 Buggati Veyron Sang Noir.

With just 12 models of the Buggati in the world, Jordan had to get his hands on one. And the car is much like him. MJ was a fast and explosive player on the court, and mainly, he could take flight. And the Buggati Veyron Sang Noir is no different. The supercar accelerates from 0-100 in just 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of 415km/hr. It’s no surprise Jordan splashed $2.2 million on this masterpiece.

A Buggati is always a rare car, and Michael Jordan is in that sort of company. Another notable name who has the Sang Noir is music sensation, Drake. This is only one of Jordan’s most ridiculous spends, and nothing says there won’t be more. His love for sports cars is such that he even had his own NASCAR team. The Charlotte Hornets owner is always putting his all into his passions, and sports cars are no different.
