The Knicks face off against the Atlanta Hawks in their first round of the playoffs. Given that the Knicks are playing their first playoff series after eight long years, their is certainly immense hype surrounding this match-up.

While the Knicks had a disappointing debut in the Garden, they made a resounding comeback in their second home game. With Derrick Rose turning back the clock and Julius Randle making some tough shots in the second half, the Knicks tied the series 1-1.

The Knicks fans hoped that their team could carry on this momentum in their third game, but the team certainly didn’t step up. While Rose continued his immaculate form scoring 29 points, other players like Julius Randle and RJ Barrett failed to step up.

With the Hawks dismantling their defense, the Knicks fell to a 2-1 deficit in the game and need to steal a game away from the fifth seeded team led by Trae Young making their upcoming matchup a must-win game.
