NBA Playoffs: Phoenix Suns Starting Lineup Against Los Angeles Lakers

After an electrifying opening night, the 2021 NBA playoffs is back with yet another exciting night of basketball. Tonight the champions Los Angeles Lakers start their title defense with a matchup against the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns have arguably been the biggest surprise package of the season. After bringing in Chris Paul and Jae Crowder in the off-season, the Suns certainly were seen as a playoff team.

But the Suns shocked the league with their impressive display in the regular season. CP3 brought the best out of players like DeAndre Ayton and given his incredible playmaking ability, unlocked Devin Booker’s scoring.

Players like Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson also took a massive leap. With their amazing perimeter defense and accurate three point shooting, the Suns have a decent supporting cast around Paul, Booker and Ayton.

Phoenix Suns starting lineup against the Lakers

Finishing as the second seed in the West, the Suns will now face the defending champions Los Angeles Lakers. Despite being the higher seed, the Suns are the underdogs in this matchup.

A win in the first game against LeBron James and Co. will be the perfect answer by the Suns and will also cement their position as a contender. Ahead of their game against the Lakers, take a look at the starting five of the team.
