In a recent press release, the league and the concerned referees have dropped a statement clarifying why Booker was ejected from the game.

This is not the first time the league referees have taken such a questionable decision this season. A week ago, Pelicans’ JJ Reddick was ejected from the game after he accidentally hit the referee with the ball.

After the Suns latest 114-104 victory against the Lakers, the crew of Dwyane Wade, Shaquille O’Neal, and Candace Parker reacted to Booker’s questionable ejection.

Parker certainly made an interesting point on how a player’s reputation on the court plays a big part in refereeing. She said, “If you’re known for yelling at refs, you get a lot more leeway.

“We’ve seen Draymond get a lot more leeway, which you want to see the best players in the game.”

The WNBA star also claimed that the referees should try to cool off the players. “You know, you need a little bit of decompression within a point, so that’s why I asked if he had gotten a technical before that. Because as a ref aren’t you supposed to let your player calm down a little bit?”
