The Los Angeles Lakers eye for their fifth win of the season. They are looking for a second straight win over the Houston Rockets. Their last game at Staples Center wasn’t an enjoyable one as none of the ‘Big 3’ had a great night. However, tonight LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook are putting on a display. However, referees are not on their best tonight.

In their first matchup, both teams failed to reach the 50% mark while shooting from the field. Most points came off fast breaks for both the sides and it turned into a sloppy matchup. Melo was hot for the Lakers scoring 23 and guiding them to the win. However, tonight is a completely different story as both teams are on point on the offensive end.

However, the Rockets struggled from the free throw line. While the Lakers have been good, the referees had to take away a few as they gave the free throws despite them not being in bonus. Likewise, fans were enraged over the bad officiating.

Referees almost cost Lakers the game?

The Lakers pulled off a 119-117 win over the Houston Rockets. While the game was all exciting till the last second, the referees caused some serious drama in the fourth quarter. With the Lakers sitting on a comfortable lead, the referees took away two points for a bad free throw call after a couple of possessions. This did not sit well with the fans as they took to twitter to vent out.

The Houston Rockets were on their offensive best tonight. Jalen Green took just one quarter to out score his previous game tally of 7 points. Center, Christian Wood continues to impress, filling up the stat sheet with 26 points, 16 rebounds and 3 assists. Jae’Sean Tate was explosive through the game, finishing with 20 points on 60% shooting. The Rockets improved their three points percentage to 35%. 

The Lakers ‘Big 3’ was on full show tonight. LeBron scored 30 points, including ten straight points in the fourth quarter. Moreover, he also tallied 10 assists and 2 steals. Westbrook went off for 27 points, 9 rebounds and 7  assists. AD had yet another two way performance with 27 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 blocks. Carmelo Anthony continued his form from last game scoring 15 points off the bench.
