Anthony Davis has been in the headlines for quite some time now. With concerns regarding his availability, many times the discussion has opened up as to how often he has been so prone to injuries this season.
Davis has already missed a large chunk of this season due to injuries, about one-third to put it to estimation. He has been influential when he is at his full fitness for the Lakers. Alongside LeBron James, he is often the key to all things good for his team. With the struggles of the Lakers, currently on 9th in the rankings, AD’s injuries have also been worrisome for fans.
They had another such setback when Davis sprained his right ankle during the second quarter of Wednesday night’s game against the Utah Jazz. He was down on the court for several minutes and was helped up by his teammates.

If the Lakers hope to avoid the play-in tournament, they need to finish in the 6th seed. They are currently six games behind Denver. They need to pick up pace, get in top form and do justice to the big roster, in order to avoid the upset like last season.
