The Golden State Warriors enjoyed one of the best seasons in a couple of years. The Bay were on fire at the beginning of the 2022 NBA season, competing with the Suns for the number one seed. However, a few injuries slowed them down as they dropped to the third seed. Their biggest injury came with Stephen Curry going down towards the end of the season. While his injury was scary, it looks like the Baby Face Assassin is well on his way back.

Curry emerged as an MVP candidate when the Warriors were running hot at the start. The three-point king was putting on dazzling displays every night with his insane shooting. While he did slow down, Curry makes up the heart of the Warriors’ offense. Hence, they have missed him over the stretch of the last few games. But with his rehab going well, Curry has progressed really well in his healing process.

Stephen Curry set to play in the playoffs
Stephen Curry went down during the Warriors match up against the Celtics with Marcus Smart falling on his leg. With ligament damage and bone bruises, it was a scary injury considering the time. But Kerr gave an uplifting update and said things are going well with the Chef. And Steve Kerr also said Steph will have a minute restriction at whatever time he takes the floor.
While he isn’t completely through the process, fans feel Curry shouldn’t be on a minutes restriction since it is the playoffs. With the Warriors going up against the Nuggets in the first round, they will surely need Steph to make a run in the postseason.

Why the hell is he getting a “minutes restriction” in the playoffs bro😭
If he’s fine and the medical staff said he’s good to go, it makes no sense for the coach to put him on a restriction. https://t.co/77E7M9qJMO— Sharj (@sharj0k) April 14, 2022

I get not wanting to play him big time minutes but I don’t think he should put a number on it.. it’s the playoffs

I love the 'minutes restriction' idea, but does anyone think Steph will be on the bench if the game goes into overtime??

Curry is the leading scorer on the Golden State Warriors putting up almost 26 points per game. The Baby Face Assassin also plays a key part in their playmaking dishing out 6 assists per game. However, while on minute restrictions, Curry won’t be able to be the focal point of the offense. Hence, Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson need to be at their best yet again. Thompson is having the best stretch of his career, scoring 30+ in his last 3 games. On the other hand, Poole has been a consistent provider in the absence of Stephen Curry.
