The Denver Nuggets are looking to repeat their 2020 playoff miracle. With the Warriors having a 3-0 lead in the series, all seemed to be in the dust. However, Denver came back strong in Game 4 and stole the game from under the Bay. Unsurprisingly, it was yet again the heroics of Nikola Jokic that pushed them through. In the crucial final minutes, Jokic predicted the play and got the job done. Likewise, fans were hailing the Joker, as they called him, the real MVP.

The Nuggets-Warriors series has been a one-sided affair so far. The Bay has just outmatched the Nuggets when it comes to talent. The trio of Stephen Curry, Klay, and Jordan Poole have wrecked havoc. On the other hand, Jokic has been the only major highlight on the Nuggets. But checking in to Game 4, Denver came in with a firm resolve. The supporting cast all did their jobs and helped the Joker in the dreams of making another comeback.

Game 4 turned out to be competitive as it was all up for grabs even in the final seconds. The Nuggets held a 2 point lead. The Warriors had the last shot. As they had multiple shot makers on the court. But Jokic knew exactly what their plan was. He put his basketball IQ on the table and predicted them trying a lob pass to Wiggins. Austin Rivers did his part and leaped to steal the ball away. Jokic’s prediction brought Denver some momentum as they prevented a sweep.

Jokic showed every NBA fan just why he deserves to win MVP yet again. Like Game 3, the Joker dominated. However, this time, he was hungrier than ever for a win. He finished the game with 37 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Tonight, he also got the help he has been longing for desperately. Aaron Gordon poured in 21 points to go with 6 rebounds and 4 assists. In addition, Monte Morris scored 24 points in the clash as well. The Nuggets could now sleep well as they have the momentum. But there is no room for a slip-up.

For the Warriors, the Poole party was not in session tonight. After a stellar series, Poole fell back, scoring just 11 points to go with 9 assists in Game 4. But the fellow 3 All-Stars did not falter. Andrew Wiggins came in with 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Klay Thompson had his shooting boots on, finishing with 32 points and 4 rebounds. Stephen Curry had yet another monumental bench performance scoring a team-high 33 points, 8 assists and 4 steals.
