LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Quicken Loans Arena on Sunday. The Lakers were coming off a tough loss to the Wizards, but they have shown some signs of improvement in the past few games. LeBron recently passed Karl Malone on the all-time scoring list and he would have been keen to continue his hot scoring streak.

And he did not disappoint. He poured in a game-high 38 points against his former team and willed the Lakers to victory. He also ended up with a triple-double. LeBron had several highlights in the game but probably the best was the dunk on his former teammate Kevin Love. LeBron had a head start to the rim and he received the ball from Austin Reaves. The Akron Hammer then took off and threw it down over Love, who was trying to draw the charge. The arena was buzzing after this play.

In the post-game interview, LeBron was asked about the dunk. He said,” It was after an offensive rebound, so I was diving down the middle, and once I got the bounce pass and I got the left leg down into the ground, that’s when I looked up. And to be completely honest, I hate it had having to be him. He’s my guy, that’s my brother.”
