The New Orleans Pelicans made a last-minute push and made it to the NAB playoffs. Battling against the number 1 seed in the Suns, the Pelicans have a big advantage. And with Devin Booker injured, New Orleans capitalized. They took Game 4 to tie the series up 2 apiece. Brandom Ingram was on fire once again as he took care of business. And the fans on Twitter trolled the Los Angeles Lakers for letting go of BI.

The Los Angeles Lakers had a great young core in their hands. With talents such as Lonza Ball, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram, and Kuzma their future was looking bright. However, with LeBron James entering the frame, the Lakers were desperate to make the most of his time. Hence, they sent away everyone except Kuzma to the Pelicans in exchange for Anthony Davis. The Lakers’ move was successful as they won a championship. However, they have failed in the following seasons.

On the other hand, all the young Lakers are shining in their roles. Especially Ingram who has quickly become the leading scorer for the Pelicans. He showed his best in the time it mattered most. BI put on a masterclass in GAME 4 to carry the Pelicans over the Suns. And fans were not keeping quiet.

Brandon Ingram makes the Lakers regret their call

Ingram showed flashes of his scoring supremacy even during his time with the Lakers. However, not coming as the first option, he didn’t get the stage to show off. But now he is living up to every bit of his Kevin Durant comparisons. The former number 2 overall pick has climbed the ladder with the Pelicans. Ingram has quickly become a star in the league. Moreover, he is now enjoying his first ever postseason run while the Lakers couldn’t even make the play in.

Likewise, fans were ruthless on Twitter as Ingram went ballistic against the Phoenix Suns in their playoff matchup.

The former Laker was the star of the show as he compiled 30 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists. Ingram set the path for the Pelicans as they have a chance to surprise the top-seeded Suns. Big man Jonas Valanciunas also had a solid game. He bullied his way to 26 points and 15 rebounds performance in the crucial Game 4. CJ McCollum didn’t enjoy the best night as he added 18 points and 9 rebounds. The Pelicans were able to defend their home court this time. With the series all level, Game 5 will be the most important game of this series.

The Suns saw a rare failure in the leadership department. After his clutch display in the last game, Chris Paul struggled with his output tonight. He contributed with just 4 points and 11 assists. DeAndre Ayton kept the same energy, unlike CP3. He racked up 23 points to go with 8 boards and misses just 3 shots. Furthermore, The Suns struggled from distance, shooting just 26% from three. With no update on Booker for Game 5, the Suns could be in for a tough game.
