Bronny and Bryce James looked locked in at their recent high school game against the Crespi Celts while their father, LeBron James watched on. LeBron was dressed in an all-dark grey-ish outfit and looked relaxed. His wife, Savannah James, family, and friends sat next to him on the sidelines to applaud the duo. It was a happy family affair; and a victory for Bronny and Bryce’s team, Sierra Canyon, was the cherry on top.

The Canyon Trailblazers beat the Crespi Celts by 17 points, bagging their 17th victory of the high school season. This was their fourth straight win. While the James family stood on their feet to celebrate each point, a member of the team’s support staff caught LeBron’s attention.

During a play, the floor on one end of the court required a little wiping and cleaning. As the logistics team ran up with towels to clean the floor, one boy, in particular, gave it his all. This ‘towel boy’, Erik Ginsburg, sprinted through the court and rushed to provide his assistance. After reaching his destination, he dropped down to his knees and quickly wiped off the wet spot. Following this, Ginsburg ran back to the Sierra Canyon bench, catching the attention of all.

Ginsburg looked pumped while yelling a couple of words out and punching his chest. These words were inaudible in the video but his dedication and passion seemingly left James impressed. As the camera panned on LeBron, he imitated the towel boy and smiled. The video instantly went viral.

NBA Twitter is in shambles after high school video goes viral

NBA Twitter was quick to react to the young boy’s actions. A series of tweets demanding the boy to be hired by the league made its way while the others commented on the four-time NBA champion’s reaction. They made a light comment about giving Ginsburg a 10-day contract and predicted that the Los Angeles Lakers would now hire him. Some fans stated that the young boy’s dedication was impressive. However, others claimed that he was doing it on purpose because he was being watched by LeBron.

As reported by the ‘Los Angeles Times’, the young boy is the manager of the Sierra Canyon team. As per his parents, Erik Ginsburg, a seventh-grader, wanted to take on more this school year. Hence, he started working with the basketball team. Ginsburg’s contribution to the team is mostly seen on the floor and his team doesn’t fail to appreciate him for his efforts.

As per the article, Ginsburg regularly receives fist pumps and high fives from players like Bronny James and point guard Dylan Metoyer. After last night’s game, he received a couple of ‘daps’ from these players and the rest of the team. Following the win, he looked at his team who were appreciative of his efforts, and said, “Friends for life”.
