Jayson Tatum got a different birthday surprise

The Brooklyn Nets managed to snap off a four-game losing streak as they defeated the Celtics. The majority of the credit goes to Mikal Bridges. Bridges notched 38 points along with 10 rebounds, and 4 assists for the game.

Not only that, but the Villanova college product was locked in on defense as well. Bridges managed to keep Tatum scoreless from beyond the arc as he went 0-8 from the three-point line for the game.

The performance from Tatum and the Celtics surely had fans frustrated. One fan tweeted, ?SMH ?. We need to stop this nonsense.?

While another fan commented, ?As a Celtics fan I’m glad they kicked our teeth in.? Celtics clearly got cocky and thought the game was over after a quarter + and the Nets gave them everything they deserved.?

Here are a few more reactions from fans on Twitter.

Fans were clearly upset with the Celtics blowing a 28-point lead. Whereas others seemed optimistic about the Nets? future all of a sudden.

A bright future for the Nets after all?

After trading Kevin Durant to the Phoenix Suns, the Nets seemingly entered rebuilding mode. The Suns got Durant while the Nets got Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson, and multiple first and second-round draft picks.

Many speculated that the Nets lost the trade as they did not get the same value in exchange for Durant. While owner Joe Tsai may have secured the team?s future with multiple draft picks, their current situation does not seem so bad.
