The NBA world has seemed jittery since Kyrie Irving requested a trade out of the Brooklyn Nets franchise. When the Nets and Irving could not work out a contract extension deal, the seven-time All-Star asked to be traded from the team. Many teams are interested in trading for Irving and his bag of skills. And one of the top runners for landing spots for Irving is the Los Angeles Lakers. After a Nets player was seen wearing clothes from Russell Westbrook’s clothing line, fans are convinced that a deal might come through.

The backup point guard and sharpshooter Patty Mills were recently rocking apparel from Russell Westbrook’s clothing line. Westbrook’s clothing line, ‘Honor The Gift,’ creates clothes that often make one stand out from the crowd.

While on his way to the arena for games, fans have often seen Westbrook rocking his clothes from his brand. The style may be considered a bit flashy for some but do not compromise on quality.

After seeing Patty Mills donning clothes from ‘HTG,’ fans were convinced that a trade for Russell Westbrook and Kyrie Irving may be in the works.

If a deal for Kyrie Irving involving Russell Westbrook goes through, two of the top duos in recent history will finally unite. LeBron James would play with Kyrie Irving again, returning to their Cleveland days.

On the other hand, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook will finally be together after almost a decade of playing on separate teams. Though this deal may benefit the Lakers, the same cannot be said for the Brooklyn Nets.

While Irving may still be in his prime, injuries to Westbrook robbed him of his athleticism. The Lakers may have to sweeten the pot a bit more for the Nets to agree to pull the trigger.
