The Golden State Warriors managed to snap their three-game losing streak in their last matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. This was also the first game the Warriors won after the return of Stephen Curry from injury. Even with the Bucks boasting Giannis Antetokounmpo on their team, Golden State still managed to win.

However, an injury scare suffered by Draymond Green has stirred up fans’ worries over another Warriors star who has continued to miss games as the team struggles to win.

Coach Steve Kerr’s update on Andrew Wiggins

It has been a month since Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins suited up for the team. Wiggins was last seen on the floor for the Warriors in the game against the Washington Wizards before the All-Star break.

The 2014 Rookie of the Year is still away from the team and not due to an injury. Recently, head coach Steve Kerr gave an update on Wiggins.

Wiggins is apparently away from the team as he has been dealing with some urgent family matters.

When asked if Wiggins will be back in the Warriors lineup, Kerr said, ?I think that?s the hope. But really there?s nothing to report on. So, we?re giving him the space as we?ve talked about as he deals with something that?s way more important than the game. And if he?s able to come back then that would be great and if not then that?s the case. And whatever happens, we?ll handle it accordingly.?

Though the Warriors management may not seem that anxious, the fans definitely are. One fan tweeted, ?What family matter takes over a month, I?ve honestly never heard of anything like this.?

Another fan commented, ?Not trying to sound insensitive but I think the fans are owed an explanation. not saying now, but whenever he feels comfortable. he can take off the season, or however long he needs, and prayers up to his family.?

Andrew Wiggins missing out on games has surely taken a toll on the team. Though the Warriors were able to win games in the latter half of February, their start to March hasn’t been so successful. With the season well into its second half, teams are giving it their all for the playoffs. The Warriors too could use all the help they can get, currently occupying the seventh position on the Western Conference table.
