The Boston Celtics have surprised everyone after the first two games of the playoffs. Celtics now lead 2-0 over Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving’s Nets. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have led the team in scoring in both games. The Nets did not give up, as both the games were pretty close.

Durant and Irving did the most on the offense, but couldn’t stop Smart, Tatum, and Brown. The Celtics will not let the Nets find them easy. This is a rematch of round one of the 2021 postseason. But one player from New York still has faith in Durant.

“Yeah I meant was tough. His shots weren’t falling but… I was talking to somebody earlier about it like… He went 4 for 17 and still had 27 points.”, said Barrett.

Durant has been inconsistent from the field versus the Celtics. In game 1, he was 9 of 24 from the field and 1 of 5 from deep. This was not good news for the Nets fans. Whereas Kyrie Irving put up 39 in game 1 and only 10 points in game 2. The duo is struggling to find rhythm versus the Celtics.

“And then for us to see someone who got shut down and had 27 on 17 shots, I mean it’s… He’s still pretty amazing.”, Barret praised Durant.

The Celtics took the home-court advantage, and now games 3 and 4 will be played in Brooklyn. The Nets cannot go down 3-0 or 3-1 in the series. Their defense doesn’t seem to work as the Celtics are now a shooting threat. Durant dominated last year in the playoffs when he averaged 34 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists.
