The Las Vegas Raiders have been oozing inconsistency throughout this NFL season. Last week, they endured a 24-0 loss to the New Orleans Saints, which seemed like a low point for them. However, they showed no signs of rebounding from the setback, as they suffered yet another crushing defeat this season. Damian Lillard, a known Raiders supporter, was driven to reveal his candid revelation about the team as a result of this.

The Raiders squared up against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Things looked to be going well as they jumped up to an early 17-0 lead. However, everything went south from there, as they were trounced 27-20 in the end. Furthermore, it was the third time this season that they surrendered a 17-point lead. The team showed no signs of life on the defensive end as they slid to a 2-6 record for the season so far.

Fans anticipated great things from the Raiders this season after securing stars like Davante Adams, Maxx Crosby, and Darren Waller to big contract extensions this off-season. However, following another humiliating defeat, Damian Lillard claimed that he wouldn’t blame the three if they decided to walk away after this season.

Things are definitely not going smoothly in Las Vegas. Crosby has arguably been the lone shining light for the Raiders on the defensive end this season. Whereas Adams as well has been showing signs of brilliance. He amassed 146 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the first half against the Jags. However, he couldn’t replicate that showing in the second half as he only had one catch for zero yards for the remainder of the game.

When it comes to Waller, the tight end has been dealing with hamstring problems. In fact, he hasn’t played an entire game since week four.

The team is not showing any signs of switching things up either. In fact, they look to be worsening game after game. This is undoubtedly not a good look for Josh Daniels, who is battling in his second tenure as head coach. With their subpar performance, Lillard believes the Raiders’ stars who signed lucrative contracts with the team should not be faulted if they chose to depart in the off-season.
