Football veteran calls out Ja Morant’s supporters

Shortly after the IG live video went viral, the Memphis Grizzlies suspended Ja Morant from the team’s activities, whereas, the league is currently looking further into the matter. The 3x Super Bowl Champion stated that many expected him to be furious at Morant. However, that was not the case. Sharpe shared that he believed in actions more than words. Therefore, he was looking forward to watching Morant improve after the 2x All-Star had earlier stated in March that he would take time off to work on himself. Sharpe said, “So, at this point in time Skip, where I am, I’m not even upset at Ja.”

However, that didn’t mean that Sharpe was not furious at all about the whole situation. Turns out, the former Broncos tight end was upset with the people who had defended Morant. He said, “I’m mad, I’m upset, I’m disappointed, I’m disgusted by the people that defended him because that’s what got us here.

When Morant was in a similar situation two months back, it created a massive debate on the internet. While half of the NBA world condemned Morant’s actions, the other half decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and move on from the situation.
