Kevin Durant and his situation with the Brooklyn Nets is causing major shock waves across the basketball world. According to multiple trusted sources, Durant has asked for a trade out of Brooklyn.
This came after another superstar, Kyrie Irving’s future is looking bleak as well. After Durant’s shocking request, the NBA world is in a dilemma. While some laud him for working towards his third NBA title, the majority of fans and analysts are bashing him.
Interestingly enough, an NFL legend bashed Durant in an interesting way. While talking on ‘Undisputed’, Shannon Sharpe used a reference from Rapper Mooski’s song. Sharpe said, “Then I realized yo, KD, he’s a runner, he’s a track star. He’s gonna run away when it gets hard. He can’t take the pain, he can’t get scarred.”

He is one of the thousands of fans and analysts around the world who bashed Kevin Durant for leaving a franchise when it is going through a tough phase. Moreover, this is not the first time KD is receiving such hate.
Durant famously joined the Golden State Warriors in 2016 after ditching the Oklahoma City Thunder. Although he won 2 titles with the Warriors, he is still bashed for his decisions.
Where will Kevin Durant go?
There is no denying that Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the league. Teams from all across the NBA would be looking to land the former MVP’s signature. However, two teams are the frontrunners to sign him.

The Phoenix Suns is looking like a good option for KD. A likely trade package would involve the 2018 No 1 pick, DeAndre Ayton, and also Mikal Bridges. A trio of Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and Kevin Durant sure sounds fun.

Another possible destination is the Miami Heat. With stars like Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, Kyle Lowry, and others, the Heat have plenty to offer to the Nets for KD. However, Durant wants to play alongside stars like Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Lowry. This complicates the trade to the Heat.
