LeBron James is the face of the NBA even at the age of 37. Despite the recent struggles of the Lakers, LeBron has been performing at the highest level. LeBron just this season surpassed Karl Malone to become the 2nd highest point scorer in the history of the NBA.

LeBron also became the first and hence the only player to achieve the monstrous feat. LeBron now is the only player to have over 10,000 points, assists and rebounds. LeBron having more than 30,000 points is averaging more than 30 points per game in his 19th season

LeBron James was also the face of the recent reboot of the famous Space Jam movie featuring the Looney Tunes characters of the famous cartoons. The first Space Jam released in 1996 which had Michael Jordan as the lead. After almost 15 years, the franchise was rebooted with who else but the second name in the GOAT debate LeBron James.

Julian Edelman wished to be on screen with LeBron James

NFL legend Julian Edelman once expressed on Twitter that he would have loved to play as a point guard alongside LeBron. However he did not want that on the basketball court but in the movie. 

Former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman had a message for James on social media when he posted a custom Space Jam movie poster starring himself.

LeBron also replied to Julian inviting him in with his hands wide open.

The wide receiver made his debut for New England Patriots in 2009 as a 23 year old. At 34 years of age he played his last game in 2020. He spent 11 years in the same franchise winning 3 super bowls and truly becoming a legend for the Patriots.

Edelman running point for a basketball team would be pretty interesting. He does have a knack for coming up clutch in high-pressure moments. It would have been an amazing partnership even if in a movie or in a hypothetical sense to see two of the greats of two different sports partner up together. Who knows, maybe a movie with something like that combination may be a possibility in the future. Space Jam: A New Legacy could not do that well at the box office. However, fans had their fun.

LeBron James is one of the best players to ever grace the court. His longevity is unmatchable and his legend just keeps on growing.
